First Aid for Mental Health

An awareness of mental health conditions and how to deal with mental health related first aid issues is becoming increasing more valuable especially in the workplace. Our first aid for mental health related courses aim to support individuals, supervisors and managers so that appropriate help and support can be offered within the workplace.

This is an introductory L1 course covering what first aid for mental health is, identifying mental health conditions, providing advice and starting a conversation, stress and mental health conditions. The course requires a minimum of 4 teaching hours.

This is a L2 course covering what first aid for mental health is, identifying mental health conditions, providing advice and starting a conversation, stress, mental health conditions, drugs and alcohol, first aid for mental health action plan and first aid for mental health in the work place. The course requires a minimum of 6 teaching hours.

Onsite Training £645 up to a maximum of 16 learners

This 2 day L3 course covers what first aid for mental health is, identifying mental health conditions, providing advice and starting a conversation, stress, mental health conditions, drugs and alcohol, first aid for mental health action plan, first aid for mental health in the work place, first aid for mental health in the workplace, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia and anxiety. The course requires a minimum of 12 teaching hours.
